Baumhower and Charlie Johnson at nose tackle. Not sure if Ted Washington is eligible yet?

Re: Tight Ends and Defensive Tackles that could be Hall of Very Good

Nickel could be considered WR or TE. Kramer from GB, Jim Mutcheller(WR?), Arbanas, Kocourek, Chester, Odoms, Giles, Jordan, Novacek, and later Miller from Pitts.

Re: Giants doing top 100 players ... have released 91-100

Nothing like a punter getting ranked ahead of a good, tough player in Landry, who became a great Giants coach. Disrespect if you ask me. Coaching should be an extension of the player in respect to team history. Maybe it's truly about just the players, which I understand but doesn't do a team's histo...

Re: Oilers at Bills AFC-CG, 1991

Good point 7D, but Rhodes* could light a fire under his players, though Lott didn't need motivation and seeing the 49er's defenders flying around against Buffalo in the SuperDome in 1990 would have been a trial by fire for Levy's young team. It would have been fun to watch. * Bill McPherson led the ...

Re: Oilers at Bills AFC-CG, 1991

Oilers just couldn't win on the road. Moon had a terrible starting record away from The House Of Pain. That Oilers-Cowboys game was one of the best from 1991.

Re: Packers fatigue

Yes, George had turf toe problems that plagued him later in his career but before say, 2001-2002, he had quickness through a hole and ran hard despite being overworked like Earl Campbell had been. Still impressive he had over 10,000 in eight seasons without a passing game to help him.

Re: Packers fatigue

Sharpe getting elected could also help other players with high peak-short careers but it will be interesting if his election helps Dilweg, Lewellen and Isbell down the road? I know Isbell gets support but I feel he also could be cancelling them out as well. I feel Lewellen will only have a chance af...

Re: An overlooked running back performance

Thanks Reaser, wow, speaking of an overlooked game, I had no idea about Jerome Harrison's game for the Browns in 2009. The Browns were so bad back then that maybe I simply didn't pay attention to any outstanding performance. Despite that game, he didn't have over 900 yards rushing that season and on...

Re: Falcons at Rams NFCCG, 1978

I just can't understand why the Cowboys could do so well against the Rams but not the Steelers? I know they lost in 1976 and 1979/80 ... but ... They won easily in the Coliseum in 1975 and 1978/79 but couldn't control Swann-Stallworth in the SB ... did the two week layoff help the Steelers more? Cou...
