Post by JohnTurney »

Jayden Daniels is the latest

Mark Sanchez
Ben Roethlisberger
Shaun King
Joe Flacco
Brock Purdy (hurt -threw 4 passes)

non-rookie
Pat Haden, played pro ball in WFL
really, really non-rookie
Dieter Brock

then older era
Harry Newman, 1933, tailback
Baugh, Tailback
Waterfield
Graham (AAFC)

then some I don't know who started for sure
but played at least some --

I didn’t know Pat Haden played in the World Football League.

Saw the Lost Treasures of NFL Films documentary on that league years back which might be my favorite of that series I’ve watched.

Of course, Baugh and Waterfield won championships as rookies, though Waterfield was T-Formation, but Wilson and Prescott could have joined this conference list, had their defenses made stops at the end of their playoff games. I still feel the Seahawks would have made the SB had they gotten by the Falcons in 2013.
