Your chart here is so useful John. Thank you.

To me, the bigger point than whether it's Nalen or Olin or Saturday or Birk, etc. etc., is that centers shouldn't have to be generational to get in, which is what's happening now. Last modern centers elected:

2019 - Mawae
2012 - Dawson
2007 - Matthews (obviously not even mostly a center)
1998 - Stephenson
1997 - Webster
1987 - Langer

You'll get Mangold somewhat soon, though even he can't get into the semis as of yet. And then Kelce will be in the mix. Meanwhile, 1/4 of the semifinalists last year were WRs.

Other than Kelce---centers are also tight..this, of course, just the things
that can be counted...no "what they said" or other intangibles, not the complete cases...

One Broncos fan is pushing hard for Nalen with the zone-blocking intangible--
I updated chart, I added a couple of things...Bednarik I think of more as a LBer but...
plenty of time at C late in career...but both all long...he's hard to group.

Looks like tight grouping of non-HOFers after Kelce--
