The Best Thanksgiving in Dallas 1989

The Philadelphia Eagles,  at 7-4,  against the Dallas Cowboys, at 1-10.  This was the best Thanksgiving Day in Dallas.  Randall Cunningham completed 21 of 33 passes for 234 yards and two touchdowns, both to Chris Carter.  The Eagles got five turnovers.  We have seen on You Tube Mike Golic's 23 yard return of an interception off  Troy Aikman.   The Eagles got 381 yards to just 131 for Dallas.   Matt Cavanaugh  relieved Cunningham in the latter stages of the game.  This was a delight from the opening kickoff.  Philadelphia 27 Dallas 0.
