Reynold "Ray" Skerrett, who played halfback (1949-1950) for the Ottawa Rough Riders and Montreal Alouettes, is listed on Stats Crew as having come from "Mon. NY Fashion Kings Jr." I'm assuming this was a junior college level team? But "Montreal New York Fashion Kings?" My newspapers.com search didn't turn up anything and if I search Google for "fashion kings" football I get nothing. Was there really a team by that name? Wow.

They were the "New York Fashions". They played only one year of junior (college aged players, 18-23) ball that I know of - 1948. They also had a juvenile team (high school aged players) 1946 -1948.
