Nick Mangold: Canton or Nay?

Post by sheajets »

Very well liked around the league and career still going

7x Pro Bowls (could add to it)
2x 1st Team All Pro (likely will not add to it but who knows)
1x 2nd Team All Pro

PFF and Sporting News had him as a 4x and 3x All Pro respectively

I think it's a little early yet to assess Mangold's actual HoF chances, though honors of 4/7 are pretty good for the position and far as I can tell are the best among centers post-Kevin Mawae. It'll be very interesting to see which centers get named to the all-10s team, which strikes me as far from settled (Mangold, Ryan Kalil, Maurkice Pouncey, and perhaps Travis Frederick all look to be possibilities). Am thinking if Mangold makes this, his chances improve a good bit.
