2016 PFRA Biennial Meeting in Green Bay

The 2016 PFRA Biennial Meeting will be held in Green Bay, Wisconsin on July 8 and 9, 2016. An informative and entertaining meeting is being planned. The theme of this year’s meeting is a Celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Green Bay Packers 1966 NFL Championship and Super Bowl I victory. The Friday evening session, starting at 5:30pm, and the Saturday session, starting at 8:15am will both be held at Club 1919 in Lambeau Field. A number of speakers have been confirmed including former Packers Bob Long and Zeke Bratkowski, former Packers PR Director during the Lombardi era Chuck Lane, Packers Super Collector Tom Pigeon, Official Packers Historian Cliff Christl, and PFRA members Matt Foss, Massimo Foglio, John Maxymuk, and Rick Schabowski. We also plan to show a film highlighting the 1966 Packers season. The cost of the meeting is $50 for members and member spouses and $100 for non-members. The cost of the meeting includes a tour of the Packers Hall of Fame, a tour of Lambeau Field, and catered meals on both Friday and Saturday. A Sunday July 10 add on activity has also been added to the meeting schedule- The Packers Heritage Trail Trolley Tour. The additional cost for the tour is $20 and is a round trip tour beginning at 9:45am and ending at approximately 12:15pm at our host hotel- The Country Inn& Suites Green Bay East.

--$89 for a 2 person-queen standard room, with an additional charge for a third or fourth adult of $10 per person. There is no charge for children 18 and under. A complimentary shuttle to Lambeau Field and complimentary hot breakfast are included. The hotel is eight miles from Lambeau Field. Upgrades for suites and family or sunroom suites are available at $109 and $129 respectively. A block of rooms has been reserved from July 7(the night before the meeting) to July 10 (the day after the meeting adjourns). The cut-off date to reserve a room is June 7, 2016.
