Moats, Monkeys, and More... Family Fun: NFL style

Post by oldecapecod11 »

Perhaps inspired by the famous Monkey Island Moat in Cleveland, the idea has caught on in the Nation's capital.
The uniqueness faded in the eerie city when the Cuyahoga became navigable simply by walking across.
Numerous Bible story films were made upon the murky waters.
It is said that Monkey Island had a drawing room where the inhabitants were given coloring books and crayons and produced some almost life-like images including athletes.
Some of those results can probably be witnessed still today.

Meanwhile, in Washington, plans have been formulated to surround a new stadium with a moat.
Certainly, common sense will prevail as enforced by fire regulations.
Hmmm... maybe not - after all, it IS Washington.

But, since the snyderskin seems in a playful mood, another suggestion to enhance the family football experience might be in the works.
How about a playroom - a kindergarten-like area for the kiddos where they can be given coloring books and
allowed to imitate the Cleveland monkeys. This would enable both Mommie and Daddy to enjoy the game
and increase season ticket revenue. In fact, if only one parent was a true fan, the other could join the kids,
play with the coloring books and perhaps result in actual artistic creations.

They could even add an "F" - the national family football league.
Wow!!! It beats the current trend for drugs and violence by a long shot.

Edited to add:

HOLY COW!!! They're serious.

Roller blading could lead to Roller Derby (more exciting than the 'Skins.)
Surfing could become Water Ski Racing during the day, Tunnel of Love at night.
Sunbathing - what else but Bikini Volleyball
Rock Climbing - the winner gets to see the game; the loser has to watch two games.

Waddaway to go, snyderskin.

"It was a different game when I played.
When a player made a good play, he didn't jump up and down.
Those kinds of plays were expected."
