Chip Kelly Fired...

Those kinds of plays were expected."

So much for revolutionizing the NFL. But I think it was his poor personnel decisions as much as his strategic/tactical approach that did him in.

I think it was his bad decisions and his inability to manage people well at the professional level that was more of his lack of success.

An Eagles HC getting let go before the final game and an interim HC coaching the final game. Reminds me of 30 years ago this very month. Can anyone say Fred Bruney?

As for my take on Chip Kelly...not what I, personally, would want in my team's HC (scoring way too quick, D not getting enough rest) but as for W/L results, the jury may still be out on what kind of an NFL HC he is. IMO, if Lurie was going to allow Kelly to take full-control of the situation and make all these likely 'crazy' moves, then he should have been allowed another year to see what would become of them. Back-to-back 10-win seasons to start things out not a bad supporting argument of this.
