I'm only aware of three. Cincinnati's Jeff Hayes (P) ran 61 yards against Pittsburgh on 10/13/1986. Denver's Billy Van Heusen (WR-P) ran 66 yards against Houston on 9/17/1972. Pittsburgh's Bob Gage (TB-DB) ran 97 yards against the Bears on 12/4/1949.

Gage only punted four times in 1949, but his 97-yard run tied the NFL record for the longest run from scrimmage (Andy Uram, Packers vs. Cardinals, 10/8/1939). Anyone know of others?

Bob Scarpitto of the Broncos had a 63-yard TD run against the Chargers in 1966, which I believe was from the punt formation (IIRC the play was shown in the NFL Films Lost Treasures series).

On October 29, 1961, Atkins scored on a 56 yard TD run, from the punt formation. He outrushed the entire Oilers team that day. Of course George Blanda threw for an AFL record 464 yards, along with 4 TDs (and 4 interceptions.)

Although not resulting in a TD, in 2010 Cleveland punter Reggie Hodges had a run of 68 yards in a game at New Orleans.
