What source do you use for Minneapolis/St. Paul?

I'm looking for missed FG distances, and the Vikings media guides have been pretty good about documenting the missed FG distances. According to my records I am missing one missed FG for the Vikings and three for the Vikings opponents so it's not a whole lot. But I do think it would be good to have a source for the Vikings games.

And San Francisco I'm not so worried about because the Oakland Tribune is a good source for info on the 49er's, even after the Raiders came to town.

Which ones are you missing? Maybe someone can assist.

In 1961 Mike Mercer of Minnesota missed a FG in Week 8 against the Rams (11/3) of unknown distance.
In 1962 Dick Bielski of Baltimore missed a FG in Week 14 against the Vikings (12/16) of unknown distance.
In 1964 Roger LeClerc of Chicago missed 3 FG's in Week 2 against the Vikings (9/20). Two of them were from 21 and 31 yards, the third miss was of unknown distance.

In 1969 it is a little bit trickier, because I have the Bears offense and Vikings defense with one extra FG miss than the final statistics say they should have. The problem is either with a 40-yard miss by the Bears (which was blocked) in Week 4 when the two teams met that I have wrong, or it could be an 18-yard miss by the Bears in Week 7 when the two teams met that I have wrong. The third option is that the final league statistics are wrong and both misses are actually correct.

It's an annual fifty dollar fee for an out of state Baltimore Public Library card. The rule was changed in 2010.

This would be much cheaper than paying the Baltimore Sun or Proquest two dollars per search, since I would have all my research done within a year and wold not need to renew.

For the Cleveland Rams, I bought a one month pass to the Cleveland Plain Dealer archives for twenty dollars, which got me all the views I needed on the Rams games. I emailed the webmasters at the PD and suggested making the Rams game databases available to the public as they did the Browns, and they felt there wasn't much of a public interest in that.

Sorry to hear that. They must've instituted the fee after I registered. As you said, though, $50 isn't bad for a year of access.

Nope, it's not just you.

Decent database, but always wished it had more than just the day-after game summaries. The good stuff in local newspapers is the beat writer material mid-week and leading up to the game.
