Cool and thank you.
San Diego is still SoCal but at least it's not Los Angeles... I could probably root for a San Diego team (although I'd prefer San Francisco, San Jose, Sacramento or Oakland).
San Diego vs. Sacramento or San Jose sounds like a respectable rivalry.

From what i have heard the leaders for the final 3 teams are

San Diego, Oakland, San Antonio, St.Louis.... So 1 of the 4 will not get a team.
Of those 4 San Diego seems the most likely..More or less a tossup among the other 3.
A few long shots sit out their like Portland and Columbus Ohio who are still trying but not likely unless the top 4 fall apart.
Currently
East- Atlanta, Orlando, Memphis ?
West- Phoenix, Salt Lake, ? ?

My money is on San Antonio as the 8th team.

Tim Lewis former NFL player and Defensive coach with 7 NFL teams has been named Head Coach. He is the first coach named in the AAF that has not had previous Head Coach experience.Team will play at Legion field for 2 years then move to the new stadium being built in Birmingham.

One team left to name

EAST-Orlando, Atlanta, Birmingham, Memphis

WEST-Salt Lake, Phoenix, San Diego, ?

Cities most are thinking could be the final team.
San Antonio or Austin
St. Louis
Oakland

This drama keeps on getting better and better. I would also bet on another team from a Texas-based city. St. Louis would also be a good shot if an NFL team is ever going to return.

Your right on.... Appears final decision is down to San Antonio and St. Louis...

They would like to go to St. Louis but the dome has scheduling issues for 2019 but 2020 is open.
They were still talking to St. Louis this week. San Antonio appears to be the fallback position if they
are unsuccessful in working out something for 2019 in St. Louis....
