JB, I believe this year's deadline was extended until December 1st.

Re: 2024 Hall of Very Good Finalists
I voted. An issue I had this year is that several of these guys felt very sameish, so my last few picks are kind of going on vibes.
In order to avoid this happening in the future, I might suggest having position-group quotas for the 20 per year. Something like 1 QB, 5 offensive skill, 3 offensive line, 9 defense/ST, 1 coach, 1 flex might do. I don't remember the last time we had a QB to vote on, for instance, unless we count Red Dunn, but there's a QB backlog that gets nominated every year and can't get on the ballot. It's even worse for WRs. It's been a while since we had a coach too, and if we're going to follow the HOF and open up to coordinators, I definitely think we should make sure there's a coach for us to consider every year.

^The Hall of Very Good has nothing to do with the Pro Football Hall of Fame. They are completely independent of one another. Our purpose is not to mimic or follow what the HOF does.

So voting will end by Dec 2nd ... When will the Class Of 2024 be announced?

I almost forgot, but I did sneak my ballot in under the wire.
I nominate and vote for Christensen every year, so hopefully this is the last time.
I'd actually nominated Dunn on the very first ballot I ever submitted, but this is the first time I recall seeing him as a finalist - maybe this will be his year.
Kopcha was my 3rd easy one. As I went through and researched everyone else, the player who most stood out to me was Ernie McMillan. He seems to have fallen through the cracks.

Red Dunn is such a hype name to have on the ballot. Hopefully his first and last. If I could distribute my 10 votes asymmetrically, he'd get at least 5 of them.

The great thing about the HOVG Class Of 2024, is that every inductee has a good case for the HOF except for Mays and Mitchell, though many believe Mays is also deserving ...
Surprised that Bacon gets elected but Baker still waits?

Yeah, that surprised me also. Baker seems to have the slightly better statistical profile.
