One thing I like to bring up that gets so overlooked is the difficulty to play extra games multiple years in a row. Going deep into the playoffs - especially going to the Super Bowl - shortens the offseason and wears players down even more. When people say things like ran out of steam or had early season losses - that's likely a part of it. That's one of the reasons why it's so hard to repeat or win multiple championships within a few years of each other.
