I never read the book but would like too. Tex Schramm was cheaper than Weeb Ewbank but Weeb could coach and motivate. Tex just loved throwing his weight around but the team underachieved in my opinion as a result of his ways. He had no problem taking care of himself and his family, if not his players ...

Calvin Hill had about 5,000 yards with Dallas. I believe he scored about 39 touchdowns. He deserves consideration, IMHO.

Agreed on Calvin Hill. He carried the ball in three decades, no small feat. I think a pretty good running back.
