Best KC Chief team from the 1990's

In my opinion, it is the 1997 one. They had more offensive talent that year that they had in previous years, with the same good defense. After that, I would have to say that their 1990 team is second-best.

'93 - for obvious reasons.

'97 is definitely the next best one. Imagine Joe behind center on that squad! It was many of you in here who influenced me to stop seeing them as a paper tiger like '95. Still, and maybe I'm very wrong for feeling this way, I would have rather Pittsburgh played in Arrowhead that year instead of home vs Denver.

Yes, '90 is next. The Year of DeBerg! They were the best in the AFC West that year and that Miami loss could (should) have easily gone the other way.

Also worth pointing out the 1997 team did have a tougher schedule (SF, DEN, PIT, MIA, a decent Seattle team) and really only pulled one game out of the fire (Pete Stoyanovich's 50+ yarder vs. the Broncos.

That said, they were dangerously close to an 0-2 start that could have torpedoed their season- Oakland straight up gave away that MNF game.
