made me think of another Cardinal in that era since they rarely made the playoffs

Roy Green
Roy Green is not the answer to that one either, but I see why you would think that.

Now that I look at it again, there are two players who share that distinction, and one of them has already been guessed.

I realize that I got that one partially wrong.

There are two receivers who share the distinction of having the most receiving touchdowns and not making a conference championship game.

Brandon Marshall is one of them. There is one more still to be guessed though.

Initially I was thinking of Jimmy Graham who has more receiving touchdowns than both, but he made it in 2019 with the Packers.

1. It is not Joe Montana
7. In addition to Brandon Marshall who was guessed earlier, Calvin Johnson is the other answer.
5. Wasn’t looking at the predominantly 60’s coaches, but it is not Lou Saban either way.

Haha ... just wanted to give a shoutout to Saban, who won championships despite a losing record. Tough question because I initially thought Norv Turner or Ted Marchibroda, but they only made one conference championship.

#5 Lovie Smith?

#1 Kurt Warner? 2008/09

It is Dick Nolan, he was 13 games below .500 but also coached the 1970 and 1971 49ers.
