That might be it, depending on your definition. Several defensive players have come in on goal line offense, like J.J. Watt and Dontari Poe. Two defensive backs saw action in the regular offense, but very little.

Marcus Jones saw 18 offensive snaps for the 2022 Patriots, and caught 4 passed for 69 yards and a touchdown.

Adoree' Jackson only saw 12 snaps on offense for the 2017 Titans. On those 12 snaps, he had 5 carries for 55 yards.

what is the definition of a 2-way player?

Someone who did it on a fairly often bases?

Or just did it in a single game?

Patrick Ricard is the most recent of the ones for whom it was a "thing"

Mike Williams played 1 defensive snap and got and INT in a game he caught passes--
but IMO that's not really a two-way player. It's more like Gronk or Moss playing defense on Hail Mary
defensive play.

Patrick Peterson player a couple of games on offense his first couple of years
but again --- 2 games?


Vrabel did it in goaline--was their TE ... LB on D.
There have been other DL in as a fullback like the Fridge did

I don't think Edelman did it in regular season but as you point out
did in the playoffs -- but really no a usually "thing"

Troy Brown? Probably did it the most, maybe most snaps on D and O
but really don't know if it was more then Picard.

Could 1996 Deion Sanders who had 67 targets as a receiver in addition to his season as a cornerback (one that earned him a first team all pro) be an example of playing both ways for a bit?

If those snap counts were in 1 game that would fit the bill imo.

I think there is a big difference between "60 minute man" and "2 way player". Roy Green played both ways for the 81 Cards, but he wasn't a constant presence on either offense or defense. I'm guessing Chuck Bednarik at the end of the 1960 season was the last 60 minute man, but even that gets disputed.
