"Name the Team" trivia part II

Post by Bryan »

I am looking for team franchise and year....

*This team started 4-2, and finished 5-11.

*The All Pro WR on this team would eventually catch 60+ TD passes in his career, yet this season was the only one in which he caught a TD from a HOFer.

*One of the players on this team would eventually make the HOF as a head coach.

Name the team!

Name the team..
This team had exactly one future HOFer on its roster.
It's head coach won a league championship with a previous team.
A rookie cornerback went on to an over decade long career with 35+ interceptions.

This team allowed the most points in a season by any team in the 1990s

They had a -235 PD and somehow it wasn't even the worst PD for a team that season

Know this because of Michael Dean Perry, coming off a conference DPOY (UPI) in 1989 ... on a Bud Carson team... always
was wild. Personally had an excellent season one of he first-team All-pros on a bad defense.

Couldn't stop the run, couldn't stop the pass but had one guy who could do both.

I was thinking of a different team but the 1969 Bengals would also qualify! Now I wonder how many other teams would qualify other than the one I was thinking of. There is actually sort of an interesting link between the 1969 Bengals and the team I was thinking of. :)

For what it's worth, the team I had in mind was the 1969 Broncos.
