Is there a good book on the anthracite league of the 1920's
I've been reading "Fritz Pollard: Pioneer in Racial Advancement" by John Carroll and I just finished the chapter where Fritz Pollard played in the coal/anthracite league in 1923 and 1924. I found the league and the towns that participated fascinating. Are there any good books on this particular subject?

Breaker Boys. The book on the 1925 Pottsville Maroons touches on the Anthracite League. But it isn't really about the Anthracite League per se.

Thank you. I looked around and it seems like it's the one book. I decided to purchase it right away after I read this:ChrisBabcock wrote:Breaker Boys. The book on the 1925 Pottsville Maroons touches on the Anthracite League. But it isn't really about the Anthracite League per se.
