Biggest issue here is Richard Sherman > Patrick Peterson IMOJohnTurney wrote:Herb Adderley

100% agree. If you’re going to put an active CB on the list Richard Sherman is the obvious choice. I’d go as far as naming him the best CB of the decade. Peterson should not be on the list over him.JohnTurney wrote:Biggest issue here is Richard Sherman > Patrick Peterson IMOJohnTurney wrote:Herb Adderley

I also rate Sherman over Peterson but I doubt either one would make the final seven. I guess it matters only if we look at the guys who don't make it as being "second teamers."
Re: CB and S for NFL 100
Yale Lary nominated as both a safety and punter.

Deion? What am I missing here?
Re: CB and S for NFL 100
Sanders is indeed one of the 16 finalists. John Turney forgot to add his name to the list at the top of this thread.sheajets wrote:Deion? What am I missing here?

Feel like Deron Cherry needs to be there regarding safeties but...I mean I can't put up much of a stink because I can't make a case of who I'd remove for him.

I wonder if the presence of names like Donnie Shell means certain HOF induction is coming for them in the big senior class. Will be worth watching which non-HOFers get on over HOFers the rest of the way.

Tony Dungy was on the blue ribbon committee---had to help Shell
