I think I have it. Bobby Boyd retired after Super Bowl III and became an assistant coach. He was on the sidelines (or booth) in Super Bowl V.

This team was the only one in NFL history to have a yardage advantage of more than 180 against their opponents, and also had a plus four turnover differential, yet still managed to lose the game. Who were the teams involved and the season?

Dan Reeves?
Dan Reeves was both a player and an Assistant Coach in both Super Bowls 5 & 6, so he and Boyd achieved that status in SB V. (But unless Reeves was on the opening KO team of the game, then Boyd was truly the first.)

Marino and Kelly are correct.

Edit: Correct in that they threw 20+ touchdowns as rookies. They may or may not be correct answers to the question.

Correct! Conerly was the first rookie to have 20+ TD passes...Marino was the third rookie to have 20+ TD passes....the remaining QB came in between Conerly and Marino.
