John Meyer, former player (Houston Oilers, 1966) and assistant coach (Patriots 1969-72, Lions '73-'74, Packers '75-'83). Meyer played at Notre Dame and was drafted by the Bills and the Cardinals in the separate AFL/NFL drafts of 1965. Signed with the Bills, they traded to the Oilers where he played one season as a linebacker. Meyer was 78.
