He was one of pro football's true Renaissance Men, an actor, painter, poet and thinking man who also an athlete. I might have to pull out my DVD of "I'm Gonna Git You Sucka" this weekend and watch it.

Burt always made sure a ex-pro football player or two got a role in his movies.

"I'm Gonna Git You Sucka" also starred Jim Brown who suffered the horrible misfortune of getting shot in his bunion.

I always thought Bernie Casey was one of the best of the football players turned actors.
