Aki Jones, who played for the Washington Redskins in 2005, died in a car acciden in Miami.

The article is in Polish, since he played for three different Polish teams in 2009-11.

Tommy Lewis Obit, made famous tackle off bench Cotton Bowl

Although he didn't play in the NFL, Tommy Lewis, made football history in the 1954 Cotton Bowl when he came off the University of Alabama sidelines and tackled
Rice running back Dicky Moegle. He played in the CFL.

While he only played in the CFL, this death seemingly is worth mentioning: Tommy Lewis, who literally came off the bench for Alabama to tackle Rice's Dicky Maegle in the 1954 Cotton Bowl, died yesterday at the age of 83:
