First, Happy Thanksgiving Day, all!
Second, whether the game itself lived up to the hype or not, what Turkey Day games throughout history do you got in mind?
I’ll simply start off with one that DID live up.. Battle of Texas, ’79! Bum’s 9-3 Oilers at Landry’s 8-4 Cowboys! Campbell vs Dorsett! Final score: Houston 30, Dallas 24.

1998, Minnesota (10-1) at Dallas (8-3), yes, it had the hype even before Randy Moss' stellar performance.

Was 1962 Packers Lions hyped, as much as any regular season game would have been back then?

Even more pre-game hype had Deion Sanders played! And that extra hype most-likely gets lived up to as well!Teo wrote:1998, Minnesota (10-1) at Dallas (8-3), yes, it had the hype even before Randy Moss' stellar performance.
