Re: Larry Fitzgerald
A lock for the Hall no doubt. If Fitzgerald is not a first ballot electee, he'll be elected in shortly thereafter.

Re: Tom Brady, just two All-Pro selections
You're right, but include Aaron Rodgers, too. Manning won 5 MVP awards and Rodgers has won 2.JuggernautJ wrote:Pey... ton... Man... ning.74_75_78_79_ wrote: Thoughts?
How many MVPs do we think Brady might have had if not for Peyton?

Re: Kellen Winslow VS Antonio Gates
I think it would be a slap in the face not to include Jason Witten in the conversation. He's arguably been Dallas' best player this century. IMO one of the best tight ends and reliable offensive players in NFL history.

Re: Kellen Winslow VS Antonio Gates
Antonio Gates put his numbers up playing alongside Eric Parker, Keenan McCardell, Vincent Jackson, Malcolm Floyd. Winslow put his numbers up playing alongside John Jefferson, Charlie Joiner, and Wes Chandler. Winslow led the NFL in receiving in 1980 and 1981. I'm not sure if a TE can lead the leagu...

Re: QBs who played their best as rookies...reasons?
Great thread.
A recent example that comes to mind is Robert Griffin III. 2012 was his best statistical season with the Redskins, then, it all went downhill from there.

Re: HoF semifinalist list released
@rewing84 - Why not? Then what is the purpose of the HoF? Is it not to honor the best players and contributors to the game of football?

Re: HoF semifinalist list released
Here's my opinion. I'm no "expert", but I look at players who should be in the HoF as the greatest, best ever, in the history of the game. I don't vote based on, hey this guy should be in case so-and-so is in. Steve Atwater - NO Ronde Barber - NO Tony Boselli - NO Isaac Bruce - NO LeRoy Bu...
