Re: Alex Boone on Harbaugh
Yeah, Lombardi was a megalomaniac. So is Belicheck. And any number of successful coaches. There have also been plenty of successful coaches that were level headed (Joe Gibbs, George Seifert, Marv Levy). Back to the specific topic. Alex Boone wasn't wrong for calling out his own coach. Harbaugh went...

Re: More inane trivia!
Another trivia (hopefully I'm right): Name the only time in history that two drafted rookies faced each other in their first career regular season game for both, the first pass one of them threw was intercepted by the other rookie (also his first interception). Hint: Both pass and interception were...

Re: More inane trivia!
If Brett Smith stayed his senior season he'd in the least be a late-round pick this year... BTW - Jay Novacek was an all-state H.S. QB.

Re: Alex Boone on Harbaugh
This will be an unpopular opinion, but most of Vince Lombardi's famed quotes were overstatements.
Football is a game for athletes and strategists. Harbaugh has been successful despite being a megalomaniac.

Re: More inane trivia!
I'm pretty sure Wyoming has never produced a starting NFL QB. Although Casey Bramlet was the last-ever World Bowl MVP.

Re: Alex Boone on Harbaugh
Hate to say it, but I think Alex Boone is right. Jim Harbaugh is insane.

The birch trees, which are everywhere in Northeast Wisconsin, are a nice touch in Tony Canadeo's '51 Bowman card.

Re: Your nominations for worst football card ever
You could just about pick any card from the 1991 and 1992 Pro Line sets. The players were either shirtless and/or just wearing a lot of NFL apparel in stupid poses.

Re: New Browns unis
I'm actually kind of disappointed that the Browns' new uniforms weren't more radical. This was a rather tame design by Nike. The Browns certainly won't be the Oregon of the NFL.
I was expecting chromatic orange, maybe some gold.
