Re: YAY!!! for Mercer Island
Agreed. Without tag, kids couldn't play touch football, baseball. I won't be around 50 years from now, but I'm hoping that NFL football hasn't completed its evolution toward a non-contact sport by 2065. By that time, competitive cup stacking could very well become an Olympic event: https://www.yout...

Re: Uniform numbers
What I want to know is why Denard Robinson still wears 16. He wore it his rookie year because he was listed as a QB. That experiment is over, though. He's a wide receiver and wide receivers are allowed to wear that number. Okay, so now he is a receiver. I did not know that. I had thought he was sti...

The thing that I most liked is that he was the only player at that time (1975-1981) who wore that number, and most interestingly, I never heard a sportscaster quoting the reason why he was allow...

Re: Where are the gamebooks now on NFL.com?
I always get them from the NFLGSIS site. I think the NFL Media site has them, too, but they post them on the NFLGSIS as soon as they are finished and are always the most up-to-date versions.

Re: I'm liking the new extra point
I can argue that the PAT was a gimmick a long time ago.. The PAT was never a "gimmick." It has always been a part of the game. In fact, in the early days of the game wasn't the PAT worth almost much as a touchdown? Also, back in the 1933 the NFL was so desperate for teams to make the PAT ...

Re: I'm liking the new extra point
As soon as the games count the all these extra two-point conversion attempts we are seeing in the preseason will disappear.
