Re: PFRA Websites Update

I was looking for an ole article that was published in the Coffin Corner. Believe it was in the first 80’s, but just found out that the links to the articles of 1979-1980-1981 are not currently working.

Re: Pro Football Weekly

Profootball Weekly does exist and Hub Arkush is still there. They started about three or four years ago as ProFootball Now, the logo was exactly the same, the only difference was that the name, it ended with “Now” instead of “Weekly”, but the iconography was exactly the same, they even said when the...

Re: Pro Football Weekly

I live in Spain, Europe, believe to be one of the few members from Europe. ProFootball Weekly published all their issues since 2004 or 205 until they dissapered in 2013 or so in PDF with no DMR. Of you where a suscriber you just had to download them, print them or you could just send it to any frien...

Who are those teams?

Hi, I believe I am the only spaniard in this board and recently a friend of mine asked me if somebody could help me with some information. It seems that a guy named Alfred Prendes, natural from Spain, played in some early Pro Football Teams. His name does not appear in Total Football, I have both ed...

Worst performance Inma a Divisional Round

I don’t remember every single game from the actual playoffs format, wildcard and divisional, but I can’t hardly remember a team in the divisional round with such a poor performance as the Titans had last night. One thing is getting man handled by a much far superior team, like those last Marino’s Do...

Re: Safest Records

It has to be Sammy Baugh's Game on 11/14/1943 against Detroit Lions.

No way any player could come even close to what Sammy Baugh achieved that day: 4 TD passes and 4 INT

QB Wins ¿Do they really mean anything?

Tom Brady last Sunday passed Peyton Manning as the winningest QB with 201 wins. I have always been a not beleiver of this QB stats, QB as pitchers in baseball cannot win any game alone, they need help, and many of them plenty of help. Otto Graham played in a game in 1950 where he did not even attemp...

Re: Most courageous performance by a QB?

Eli Manning and courageous seems quite strange, but the beating Eli took on the NFC Championship Game 2012 against that 49ers defense was enormous. Eli kept standing and making plays besides that pysicall performance by the Niners.

Has any body ever done this work before?

Watching some games from the 80 I found out that QB were out of the pocket they still had to throw it to an elegible receiver, they could not just throw it away as they do it nowadays. I found out this rule changed in 1991, before QB could not do it. Joe Montana was playing with the Chiefs and some ...
