Re: Cousins
Speaking of Marvin Gaye, I always thought Darrell Revis bears a resemblance to Curtis Mayfield. You don't see many black guys with thick 70s beards these days.

Re: Cousins
Apparently Darrell Revis is the nephew or cousin of former NFL DT Sean Gilbert.

Re: PFRA Nominations and Election (A Gentle Reminder)
I'm not sure I'm ready to link Willis's response to the conspiracy theories behind the Kennedy assassination, but if I'm missing something in my prior observation someone please tell me what it is.

Re: QB for QB trades
Although not football related, the most bizarre trade involving sports figures was in 1973, when New York Yankees pitchers Mike Kekich and Fritz Peterson swapped wives and children (even dogs!). The most interesting thing is that Peterson is still married, while Kekich's only lasted for a few years...

Re: PFRA Nominations and Election (A Gentle Reminder)
Since I know Jeff personally for many years, I have dealt with him about this issue away from the Forum. No need to clutter up the Forum when I can deal with him personally. Thanks. Chris Willis PFRA Have to say, Chris, I find this response absolutely baffling. A number of people have mentioned str...

Re: The Greatest Postseason Upset of the 1970s
Regarding the late 70s early 80s Chargers lack of playoff success, I think Dr. Z once wrote something about how he didn't know exactly why, but that Fouts always seemed to get himself "in a pickle" in the playoffs.

Re: The Greatest Postseason Upset of the 1970s
That's probably it, although the 9-7 Rams ending Staubach's career would be right behind it. To this day, don't understand why this is considered such a "major" upset. The Cowboys finished 11-5 to the Rams 9-7, but the Rams struggled with injuries all year and came on at the end of the ye...

It's even more surprising considering his most famous pass is the pick he threw in the SB vs Dallas.Hail Casares wrote:Might be fun

Re: Trouble with the forum ...
I have no issues at all using my smartphone. Rarely have issues using my home pc. But I have major issues getting in (and staying logged in) at work. The inconsistency is puzzling. You'd think the problems would be consistent regardless of the location.

Re: Paul Krause's interception record
His first pick came on the last play of the first half and was thrown by Vince Ferragamo, and the second pick came on the second-last play of regulation when he picked off former teammate Bob Lee at the Viking 14. The Vikes ended up losing 27-21 in OT. Is this the game where Cromwell ran in a fake ...
