Re: Worst draft classes for a team
6. IK Enemkpali - DT That's the guy who punched QB Geno Smith in the face in August 2015 over 600 dollars that Smith allegedly owed him. Naturally, the Bills and Sexy Rexy signed him after that, and put him on their practice squad after cutting him (he was activated that year and played in 11 games...

Re: Stram and Ditka's stints as Saints' HC
The Ditka era in N.O....seems like every year they were shuffling through 5-6 atrocious quarterbacks just trying to find someone who could throw a football. Shuler, Danny Wuerffel, Billy Joe Hobert, Billy Joe Tolliver...

Re: Worst draft classes for a team
Jets 2014 Draft Class was a disaster 1. Calvin Pryor - Safety 2. Jace Amaro - TE - thought he would be a fairly decent pass catching TE. Ended up a disinterested bust with a case of the drops 3. Dexter McDougle - CB 4. Jalen Saunders - WR 4. Shaq Evans - WR 4. Dakota Dozier - OL 5. Jeremiah George -...

Re: Best Teams To Miss The Playoffs
Not among the best but still angry the 2015 Jets at 10-6 didn't make the playoffs. 2004 Bills I remember being terrified as they charged late in the season...they were on an 8-1 run going into Week 17 playing Pittsburgh at home in a game the Steelers didn't need. Jets were 10-5 and were in with eith...

Re: Were 10-6 49ers of '91 as good as record indicated?
I saw them as an unlucky playoff team that was left out in the cold and better than their record indicated The last 6 games of the season they were second only to the Redskins as the best team in football They had that absurd Hail Mary loss to Atlanta which should've been a win...17-14 in a game whe...

Re: Worst RBs/WRs with a 1000 yard season?
In terms of 1000 yard seasons Winder was definitely a one hit wonder...however his 8 other seasons he was still a contributor in terms of running/catching the ball out of the backfield. Not a great player but not one that holds an offense back either He actually had two Pro Bowl appearances - 1984 a...

Re: Worst RBs/WRs with a 1000 yard season?
Karim led the NFL in rushing TD’s in 1997 So? How many were short yardage plunges or easy walk ins? He was not a good running back. Poor YPC. Not very elusive or explosive Name a RB with great YPC but few touchdowns One that came to mind was Tony Dorsett. He definitely had fewer than most would exp...

Re: NFL MVP's who didn't deserve to win
If I were to cast a "just to be different" vote in 1994 for MVP...maybe make a case for Ben Coates. Became an elite tight end that year. 96 receptions. At that point it was the most ever by a TE. He was also a good blocker...clutch catch after clutch catch.

Re: 1997 Raiders Defense
I remember being at a Raiders/Jets game where Cole Ford went 1/5 and absolutely cost them a win. It was one of those rare games where the Jets opponent followed the script usually reserved for the Jets Raiders had 0 turnovers and even had fewer penalties than the Jets! Normally a 90s Raider loss wa...
