This is an angle I haven't heard too much of. Bledsoe will forever be best known as the guy who got Pipped by Tom Brady, but he was a #1 overall pick whose career stats compare favorably to contemporaries like Jim Kelly, Troy Aikman, and Rich Gannon, minus the SB appearances. Bart Starr is not only GB's best QB but the most underrated QB in NFL history in my opinion. Only Tommy Thompson, Charlie Conerly and incredibly, Terry Bradshaw enter the discussion. Whether you think Rodgers does/doesn't deserve to win the award for reasons stated, I think it's unambiguous that MVP voters shouldn't be talking publicly about their vote before it's presented, for any reason.

Given the choice, I'd pick him over Rivers, Ryan, Dalton....to me, Stafford's seemed a bit on the higher end of the B-level tier.

Dalton is the only one of those four I'd call a "B" quarterback. The rest are at least HOVG locks.
