Re: Hard To Find Info Online

Also, would like to see Red Grange & Ernie Nevers (Benny Friedman too, I think he barnstormed a little) stats from their barnstorming days. For pre-statistical NFL seasons, this is a good summary: https://profootballresearchers.com/archives/Website_Files/Coffin_Corner/14-02-453.pdf Has anyone e...

Re: Question on 1906 Shelby Blues

I was able to get it through their historical society. Let me know if anyone needs anything on Shelby pre-NFL.

Question on 1906 Shelby Blues

Does anyone have the 1906 Shelby Blues' schedule? I've pieced together some games from the newspapers, but I would love to have their actual schedule. I tried Tod's Pro Football Archives via the way back machine, but it looks like it starts with 1910. Thanks.

Good Catch! I didn't add it it up. Thanks.

Parratt 3
McAllister 2
Maxwell 2
Nesser 1
Thomas 1
Wightman 1
East 1
TD = 11*5=55+ 2 (PAT) = 57

Re: Peggy Parratt

I thought this was an interesting game. On 10-20-06, Massillon defeated Shelby 57-0. The Canton Morning News provided this boxscore: 18.png On the Shelby side, the most familiar names are Charles Follis and Nesser. Does anyone know which Nesser brother this would be? Maybe John? We find more familia...

Reminds me of my favorite football card set. I like the backs as much as the fronts. I would argue no other set squeezes so much info onto such a small amount of real estate.

Re: Willie Galimore

Galimore seems to have had the best big play making ability out of the group. NFL films put him in one of those top 10s where they get a mix of ex-players, coaches and other celebrities to talk about each player. I saw it a while ago, but I couldn't find it now - something about big plays or breaka...

Re: Bronko Nagurski statistics in 1930 and 1931

In my opinion, the jt site doesn't contribute anything original - it just copied Neft's work without crediting it (@ChrisBabcock, not directed towards you, just irks me although it could be an innocent mistake - maybe he thinks they're official statistics and not the result of painstaking research)....

The Dolphins would take it most years :)
