Bob Skoronski for HOVG?

Post by Ken Crippen »

His name has come up before on this board, but I thought I would create a separate thread. While he does not have the honors (one Pro Bowl), when I talked to Jerry Kramer, he said that the coaching staff always had Skoronski graded as the best lineman on the team.

Thoughts?

Poor Bob must be the Rodney Dangerfield of Packers linemen.

What was the year that all the other offensive linemen on the Pack were Pro Bowlers except for Skoronski?
And aren't all the other Lombardi Packer lineman in either the HoVG or Canton?

Give Rodney... I mean Bob, some respect.
Vote him into the HoVG!!

(And, all joking aside, I would think he deserves to be there. What say those who have studied the film?)

Reaser and I have him as a solid HoVG player. Identical grade as Kramer.

For what his opinion is worth, Bart Starr has said that it's Skoronski, not Kramer, who belongs in the PFHoF.

I have voted for Skoronski before. Another player that was kind of overshadowed on a team of all-stars.
