I posted this a week or so ago on my blog. I spoke to Steve Hartman
today and updated is.

Also, I'd made a few errors, and misread my own notes on a couple of things
and didn't double-check on the 1998 senior candidate...so, those were my screwups.

Also, when I say final 10 or final 11 it means modern candidates--those in the
reduction cuts...

So, after getting more info and correcting errors this is what I have now, for any interested

I think its interesting that some of these players were (IMO) undoubtedly HOFers, yet they weren't first-ballot guys. I guess it shows the randomness of the HOF voting. I knew that Tarkenton wasn't first ballot....but other guys I just assumed were first ballot but I guess they weren't:
