Sam Wyche, former quarterback with the Cincinnati Bengals, Detroit Lions, Washington Redskins and St. Louis Cardinals, as well as former head coach with the Bengals and Tampa Bay Buccaneers died on January 2, at the age of 74:

Doug Hart, Packers defensive back who appeared in all 112 games with the Packers from '64 - '71, died January 1st:

George Perles, former head coach of Michigan State, and Chuck Noll's D-line coach and eventually DC passed away at age of 85. Article says he created the stunt 4-3 but I thought that was Joe Greene. Probably a collaborative effort. If anybody has an answer post it please.

Sam's best statistical season was as a Bengal in 1969 when he filled in for Greg Cook.
