Oh man, now Jimmy Orr?? My faves from the '60s are dropping like flies. Orrsville was a long way from Detroit, but those Colts were my favorites growing up.

RIP Jimmy.

One of the staples of pro football in the 60's was Johnny Unitas throwing a TD pass to Jimmy Orr in Orr's Corner. And we'll always remember Orr wide open for a TD at the end of the first half of Super Bowl III. Earl Morrall didn't see him and threw an interception.

One of the worst days of my young life. I remember me and my kid brother going down in the basement afterwards and pinning a newspaper photo of Namath on a target and shooting it full of holes with our pellet gun. I think that also may have the time my brother shot a hole in the new furnace. Blame it on the Jets....

Also remember late winter afternoons tossing the football up and down the street, trying to make circus catches in the snow. I was Orr, he was Max McGee....now those are good memories.
