Alfred Taubman, who owned the USFL's Michigan Panthers in 1983-84 and then the merged Oakland Invaders in 1985, died last night at the age of 91:

Laverne Torczon died on April 18 at the age of 79. He played with the Bills, Jets and Dolphins from 1960-66, and was drafted by the Browns in 1957:

Although not a player or coach, Frank Olivo, the infamous Santa Claus who was pelted with snowballs and insults by the Philadelphia Eagles fans in 1968, died on April 30. He was 66 years old.

Even though two months of obits have disappeared, former Giant Pete Athas died in Miami on June 28. He also played with the Browns, Vikings and Saints:
