KEY WEST, Fla. — Christopher Dyko, 48, of Bremerton, Wash., who had had played football in the 1980s at WSU and with the Chicago Bears, was killed when hit by an SUV on U.S. 1 near Key West while riding a bicycle Sunday, Keysnet.com reported.

Great High School player too - first-team all-league with University HS (WA) ... Also was with the Seahawks (triple crown: HS, College and Pro in the Great State of Washington) for a short time.

Former NFL Head Coach Allie Sherman died on Jan. 3, 2015 at the age of 91.
Sherman had a record of 57-51-4 in eight seasons as the head coach of the New York Giants.
He also coached the Giants in three straight NFL Championship Games, 1961-1963, losing
all three.

He also played a few years as a quarterback with the Eagles.
