I want to add that in the 1983 preseason game I attended at the Astrodome, I recall that Tampa Bay won 23-17 and that Houston rookie TE Mike McCloskey caught a TD pass, but other than the quarterbacks that started the game were Archie Manning and Jerry Golsteyn I don't remember much. Do you know if the Gamebook is in the Member section, or where can I find info for that game?Teo wrote:First game that I can remember watching: Cowboys-Broncos Super Bowl XII
First game that I attended in person: 1983 preseason Buccaneers at Oilers
First NFL play I can remember: Butch Johnson's catch in Super Bowl XII (now it wouldn't been a catch)

Tampa Bay used to have all their gamebooks including preseason online but I cannot find the link anymore.

First very faint memory of a game was the 62 AFL championship between Oilers and Texans although i would only have been 7 years old... After that remember many AFL games as i was a AFL fan as a kid while my dad was only a NFL fan. Also remember telling him with QB's like John Hadl, Daryl Lamonica, Babe Parilli and Len Dawson that the AFL had better Quarterbacks. Kept telling him the AFL teams would beat the NFL teams all the time. OF course i ate crow in Super Bowls 1and 2
