I assume you mean Dexter Jackson? That could also apply to Larry Brown and Malcom Smith (except for the 10 seasons in the NFL- I think Brown played 8 years, and Smith is currently at 9.)

DIdn't mean it as a quiz! Actually forgot to type then name Julian Edelman of the Patriots. Still not a lot of respect for the slot position I surmise. But three SB rings are their own reward one can say.

If he hasn't been mentioned Jethro Pugh played 14 seasons, many of them as a starter, and received only 2 Second Team All-Pro selections.

I guess it depends on the definition of "longtime starter". How many seasons? In my nominees I chose players who played at least 9 or 10 seasons.

Here's a current one. You could argue he's not a full-time starter, but he has started in 139 games.
