I definitely agree that any team with Mark Malone at QB would be among the worst. One caveat would be that the 84 Steelers were the only team to defeat the 84 Niners...I imagine if they had met in the Super Bowl, the Niners would have been double-digit favorites in spite of their regular season loss.
