How do you think the '80's Bears would have turned out if they had a solid coaching staff? Now granted Ryan was a very good coordinator but at the same time he created more tension on the teams he was on than anything else. So how do you think that group of players would have ended up doing under a coaching staff that didn't create so much drama and were structured and positive influences on the team as well as being good coaches?
It's an interesting question because the NFC had both the Giants and 49ers playing at a very high level during that same era as well. Do you think the Bears potentially take a title a way from the '9ers and possibly the '86 Giants? Be interesting if the Redskins get a title in '87 since they beat a Bears team that was basically unraveling at that point due to all the drama the team had.
