Besides ’11 Giants is right! #32 in rushing yards as well as #32 Y/A!

Probably not the worst besides, but the run-game of my ’08 Steelers quite the falloff from three years prior. Rushing yards wise they ranked 23rd!

The 1981 49ers certainly qualify. Ricky Patton was the leading rusher with a meager 543 yards, and as a team, the 49ers ranked 19th in rushing.

Yes, Ricky Patton not quite a name that goes down in history! Willie Parker, sure enough, will always be remembered more. Just the same, that ’81 Forty Niner run-game (and overall team in general) was better than the ’08 Steelers.

It looks like both the ’70 Colts and the ’02 Bucs may end up being the ‘winners’ here!

As for the former, we’re talking 23rd in both yards and Y/A; and out of just 26 teams! Their leading rusher (a rookie), forgot his name already (and never heard of him until today), only rushed for 400+ yards and also led the team in rushing TDs with...three! A high-ranked passing attack but with a low-ranked pass-D; and a high-ranked run-D but...what’s already been stated. An interesting study in irony, this Super Bowl Champ was!

The latter of the two? A bit surprised at this! 27th in yards, 28th in Y/A. With Alstott in the backfield, mind you! And he only rushed for 548, second to Pittman (the ‘lightning’ to his 'thunder') who had more than 700! In hindsight, I thought they were statistically better than that.

2010 Packers. They were #24 in rushing yards. And when it came to Super Bowl XLV, Mike McCarthy made both (backup) fullbacks inactive (not sure about John Kuhn) in a sign that he was going to pass, pass, pass. I think James Starks had one run for a first down and that's it.
