Re: 1945 Chicago Bear - who wore #67?
Oh and one thing that bugs me about 1945 - despite what the NFL and Pro Football Reference say - O'Neal/O'Neale Adams did N OT play for the Giants in 1945. Al those games credited to him were played by Verlin Adams. O'Neal/O'Neale was busy playing for the Second Air Force team in 1945.

Re: 1945 Chicago Bear - who wore #67?
In the team photo that year there is a players sitting between #76 (Rudy Smeja) and #66 who is wearing a number that ends in 7 (blocked by #37's head). It almost looks like Johnny Schiechl. He also wore #66 that year - but that was also Bulldog Turner's number (but he only played in two games).

Re: NFLgames postponed or moved due to weather
. The Chicago Bears at Chicago Cardinals game at Wrigley Field on 06-Oct-1936 was postponed because of the MLB World Series game 5 between the Cubs and Tigers. The game was played at the end of the season (08-Dec-1936) instead. The two teams also played the week before (01-Dec-1936) at Wrigley Fiel...

You are correct.conace21 wrote:Excellent list. But shouldn't it include all the games that were scheduled for September 16 and 17, 2001? They were all tacked on at the end of the regular season.

Re: NFLgames postponed or moved due to weather
Postponed games in the early days were not that uncommon. Don't have the detail in front of me, but I think a Lions-Dodgers game in 1934 was postponed a day due to weather. I think two games on the same day in 1935 involving Eagles-Redskins and Dodgers-Cardinals were postponed due to heavy rain. I ...

Re: NFLgames postponed or moved due to weather
Here is my list of NFL games that were postponed and played at a later date due to weather and other reasons (such as all the 1982 games due to the player's strike). There are also quite a few games from 1920s and 1930s that were postponed and then later canceled. 10/12/1922 roc @ akr Postponed from...
