What went wrong for SF in 1985? Again when you go from #1 scoring defense to #2 that shouldn’t mean a 5 win dropoff! They had some very uncharacteristic early season losses. 1993 both Jets and Giants should've made the playoffs but the Jets choked that spot away. Jets won a 10-6 game on Halloween.
