I think the logic behind putting the 1968 Jets at #1 is that they "proved" that the best of the AFL could stand toe to toe with the best of the NFL... and the merger would be a merger of equals. Still all that being said I wouldn't put them #1. Maybe in my top 10.

Each player only has to be nominated once to have a chance, right? If so, how do I make sure I don't waste nominations on players that someone else already nominated? Just put in my email "if someone else nominated any of these players, give me back those selections"? You'll get a reply.....
