Re: Leslie O'Neal

O'Neal was an excellent pro that seemed to perform in obscurity, at least to the "casual fans." To me, as a college football fan enthusiast, he was one of the best defensive linemen in college history. As an undersized DT, weighing anywhere from 230-250 during his career, he made plays all...

Re: Worst...call...ever

OK...it was great coaching; I would agree on that.

But, still, it was a fabulous play by Butler. This was not Larry Brown having two balls thrown right to him that Blind Lemon Jefferson could have caught......then he gets the MVP.

Re: Worst...call...ever

Absolutely. What is lost here is Butler's All-World Dick Lane, Deion Sanders, Darrelle Revis, Sherman, Mike Haynes type of play. That was a phenomenal display of instincts, needless to say.

Oh, I was PISSED........ I was for Seattle.

Re: 1960's All-Decade Team

Erich Barnes, I agree, should be on this team.

Re: Greene versus Haley for HOF

Personally, I would like to see more emphasis put on quarterback pressures; they are just as important as sacks, at times. In fact, I would not mind seeing quarterback pressures as official NFL stats, though that may be difficult, I do not know.

Re: PFHOF Semifinalists

I was ecstatic to see Kenn on here. I have been complaining about him not being considered for years. Kenn, IIRC, got screwed in 1991, by not making the Pro Bowl, but he was a first team All-Pro. Darren Woodson, IMO, has absolutely no business being ahead of Atwater, Lynch, Joey Browner, Easley, Pat...

I have been reading this book, and it is excellent.

Great job, Coach Troup!
