Kelly Malveaux, former linebacker and defensive back who played 10 seasons in the CFL for Saskatchewan, Calgary, Montreal, Winnipeg and Edmonton, died on January 24th, at age 47. Jerry Hilgenberg, a center who was a 4th round Draft choice by the Cleveland Browns in 1954, died on January 16th. He was 92 years old. I remember that when the Raiders played at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum they didn't had any MNF games there from 1986 to 1994 (the Raiders did had MNF games, but away). Was it for the bad artificial lights or the empty stands?

Leo Carlin, who was the Philadelphia Eagles ticket manager for more than 50 years, died on January 17. He was 86 years old. In 2007, he was in the preliminary list for the PFHOF.
